REFUND POLICY

 

1. Acceptance of this Refund Policy

It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with this refund policy. By placing an order for any of our products, you indicate that you have read this refund policy and that you agree with and fully accept the terms of this refund policy. If you do not agree with or fully accept the terms of this refund policy, we ask that you do not place an order with us.

 

2. Refund Policy

a. No request for a refund shall be honored for services produced and delivered in full or in part to the Buyer within agreed upon delivery timetables.

b. This no refund policy includes and applies to time, labor costs, products and consultation services provided to the Buyer during the contract performance period.

c. Buyer acknowledges and agrees that after an initial payment is made to Luminary Financial, that transaction constitutes ‘acceptance of terms, conditions, fees and notice for Luminary Financial to commence work.

d. In consideration of payment(s) received our fees are non-refundable. Fees are not dependent upon results and no specific legal or financial outcome is unconditionally guaranteed.

e. Luminary Financial will honor a request for a full or partial refund in circumstances deemed serious in nature (example; a serious medical emergency, death of a spouse, catastrophic loss due to a natural disaster, loss of employment. or means of income).

f. If such an event or circumstance should occur, Luminary Financial reserves the sole and exclusive right to review the matter on a case-by-case basis and in good faith.

 

3. Chargeback Fraud

‘Friendly fraud’, also often referred to as chargeback fraud occurs when a Buyer knowingly and intentionally abuses the chargeback process to secure a refund thereby gaining the use of seller's services by means of fraud or breach contract performance obligations.

 

a) To avoid a chargeback fraud scenario, the Buyer agrees to notify Luminary Financial in writing of any service related problems or issues of concern. This notice must be received prior to contacting our payment processor or the Cardholder’s bank. Failure to comply with this request would unfairly deny Luminary Financial of an opportunity to address the Buyer’s issue of concern.

b) Knowingly and intentionally filing a fraudulent chargeback claim is a criminal act. 

c) Luminary Financial will vigorously challenge and pursue acts of friendly fraud to the full extent of the law.
